THE RESIDENCY
During his time at BAR Goliszewski developed a fascination with the wheat silo facing the residency building. Through digging through The Arab Center for Architecture’s archives he was able to discover the details of the 1970’s building, erected right before the country fell into Civil War. His compulsion with the structure led him to cast a sculpture of the building using aluminium. Goliszewski collaborated with the craftsmen of the industrial city in Lebanon to come out with his interpretation of the building, paying homage to the original structural elements while creating a unique piece.
